How do I delete my account?

You can delete your Daan.dev account yourself, at any time. It only takes a few clicks, and any active subscriptions are cancelled right away, so you won’t be charged again.

Before you start: save your license keys

Your license keys keep working until they expire, and you can still renew them at checkout, under Renewing a license key?. They’re no longer linked to an account, though, and you won’t receive renewal reminders. So copy your keys from License Keys before you delete your account.

How to delete your account

  1. Log in and go to your Account.
  2. Scroll down to Delete account, below your profile.
  3. Tick I understand that my account will be deleted, and that this can’t be undone.
  4. Click Delete my account.

You’re logged out and you’ll see “Your account has been deleted.” This can’t be undone.

What’s deleted?

  • Your account, name, email address and billing address.
  • Your newsletter subscriptions: you won’t receive any more newsletters.
  • Your download history, reviews and comments are anonymized.

What’s kept?

Tax law requires me to keep a record of every sale. So your orders are kept anonymized: only the product, date, amount and your city, state or province, postcode and country remain. Invoices are kept for seven years.
