Is CAOS compatible with WPConsent?
Short answer: Yes! CAOS and CAOS Pro are fully compatible with WPConsent.
CAOS’ (Pro) flexible Allow tracking… option can be used to make sure CAOS (Pro) only enables it’s tracking once the WPConsent cookie consent banner is accepted.
The following configuration is needed to make sure CAOS (Pro) is compatible with WPConsent:
- Set Allow tracking… to When cookie value contains (loose comparison)
- Set Cookie Name to
wpconsent_preferences - Set Cookie Value to
"statistics":true(mind the quotes, they’re needed to make it work properly!)
That’s it! When a user accepts at least the Statistics cookies, CAOS (Pro) will automatically enable its tracking.
