Admin Bar Menu

OMGF adds a menu to the admin bar for logged in administrators. The top menu item is accompanied by a stoplight, which gives you a quick indication of the page’s fonts performance.

Hover over the menu to reveal a more detailed explanation about the given status.

Click on (one of) the menu item(s) for a detailed report about the given status in OMGF (Pro)’s Dashboard.

🔵 Information

A blue indicator tells you OMGF (Pro) has information about your fonts’ performance. Hovering over the stoplight reveals one (or more) of the following:

  • If Optimize this page (Or re-scan & optimize this page in OMGF Pro) is highlighted blue, the plugin (probably) has just been installed and its initial optimization routine hasn’t run yet.

If OMGF’s Performance Checker has suggestions on how to improve your fonts’ performance, you might see:

  • Preloading [x] fonts could save ~[x]ms on your LCP.
  • [x] fonts loaded but unused.
  • [Multilanguage Plugin] detected. [x] subsets loading on every page.

Each of these suggestions is accompanied by an impact indicator: low, medium or high.

🟢 Success

The least interesting dot, but the one we all want to see. When you see the green dot it means:

  • Your fonts are configured to load at peak performance,
  • All Google Fonts are loaded locally.

In other words, success!
